This role blends traditional IT operations-user support, systems administration, and documentation-with hands on experience in Copilot AI usage, automation, and agent development.

The essential functions of the position include:

    • Create and remove user accounts, provision/decommission PCs, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist employees with daily technical needs.

  • Documentation

    • Develop and maintain clear documentation for procedures, troubleshooting steps, infrastructure configurations, and AI workflows.

  • Infrastructure and Project Work

    • Assist with Hyper-V VM creation, maintenance, and monitoring.
    • Help build and deploy Intune applications, configuration profiles, and device policies.
    • Support backup operations including testing, monitoring, and documenting backup processes.

  • AI & Automation (Copilot + Agents)

    • Work with Microsoft Copilot to streamline IT workflows, generate documentation, and improve support processes.
    • Assist in the development, testing, and refinement of Copilot Agents for internal IT use cases.
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks using AI powered tools and scripts.
    • Provide feedback on AI performance, accuracy, and user experience.

Your background includes:

  • Going into junior or senior level standing at an accredited institution.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
  • Interest in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and AI-driven automation.
  • Basic understanding of Windows environments, networking, and PC hardware.
  • Curiosity about AI tools, prompt engineering, or workflow automation.
  • Communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • At least 10 consecutive weeks of uninterrupted availability to accommodate 20-40 hours of in-office work per week.

What you'll gain:

  • Hands-on experience across enterprise IT operations, virtualization, cloud management, and modern AI tools. You'll contribute to real infrastructure projects while learning how Copilot and AI agents can transform IT support and automation.
