The EP Associate, under direct supervision, performs specific assignments of basic and moderate complexity for: updating and maintaining the Companys real property data base, preparing and completing basic real property agreements with the help of Law, assisting with recording real property documents with local county clerks office and performing research and working with title companies as required. Ensures internal and external customers receive a Plus 1 Customer Experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage in user acceptance testing for upgrades to the Real Estate Transactions teams data-base and software tools.
- Analyze data and run reports associated with the Companys real property portfolio.
- Prepare basic license and easement agreements and ensure recording of same as required.
- Assist Analysts and Senior analysts with lease administration tasks including tracking lease renewals and reconciliation of rent records.
- Draft letters as required to ensure Companys real property rights are maintained (no objection letters and or cease and desist letters).
- Perform other related task and assignments as required.
- Procure supplies and equipment, as necessary.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Liberal Arts, Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance and one year relevant experience ncludes cumulative work or
- equivalent internship/co-op
- experience OR Six months of Con
- Edison co-op or internship
- experience.
Relevant Work Experience
- Less than 2 years One year relevant experience including co-op or internship, required.
- Less than 2 years Proficient in the use of MS Office products including Word, Excel and Power Point, required.
- Less than 2 years Adept at using the Internet for communication and research, required.
- Less than 2 years Excellent oral and written communication skills, required.
- Less than 2 years A commitment to customer service, required.
- Less than 2 years Must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Companys Corporate Values and Mission, required.
- Less than 2 years Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various levels of management, union personnel, internal and external customers as well as vendors and outside agencies, required.
- Less than 2 years Must be well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments, required.
- Less than 2 years Must also have a demonstrated ability to accept challenges and use creative thinking to analyze data and recommend solutions, required.
- Less than 2 years Must exercise good judgment and render sound decisions, required.
- Less than 2 years Knowledge of work management/asset management systems a plus (ex: Manhattan Lease, Trirega, Yardi), preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
