Join Clariant and play a key role in driving operational excellence through project execution, process improvement, and innovation. In this position, you will lead initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, support the introduction of new products, and optimize processes across our operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver capital projects, solve technical challenges, and implement innovative solutions that create value for the business and our customers.

By leveraging your technical expertise and continuous improvement mindset, you will help improve safety, reliability, efficiency, and sustainability while contributing to Clariant's growth and long-term success.




Responsibilities



  • Lead the introduction of new products into Clariant manufacturing facilities and partner plants
  • Support engineering and capital investment (CAPEX) projects by providing process expertise and product knowledge
  • Identify, develop, and implement systems and procedures to optimize operational processes
  • Drive the adoption of modern, efficient technologies to improve manufacturing performance and business results
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across manufacturing and business operations
  • Investigate and troubleshoot equipment, process, and product-related issues to enhance performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with and share best practices across Clariant sites and technical organizations
  • Mentor teams in structured problem-solving using statistical analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Ensure compliance with Clariant safety standards, ESHA guidelines, and regulatory requirements within areas of responsibility
  • Support sustainability initiatives by contributing to environmental performance targets related to waste, emissions, water, and energy consumption
  • Participate in process safety activities, including process hazard and risk assessments



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and/or statistical analysis tools
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within the chemical processing industry
