About the Role: The Assistant Director of Graduate Education - Enrollment Marketing & Outreach position is essential to advancing NKU's graduate enrollment goals through strategic marketing, student engagement, and targeted recruitment efforts. This role provides dedicated leadership in developing and executing communication campaigns, managing digital outreach, and fostering relationships with prospective students, current students, and alumni.
By coordinating enrollment marketing initiatives and leveraging data-driven strategies, the position supports graduate program growth, student retention, and the overall success of NKU's graduate education mission.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the university's marketing and communication department to collaboratively develop and implement enrollment marketing strategies to recruit and retain graduate students across all programs Manage and grow the Office of Graduate Education's social media presence, creating engaging content that highlights program offerings, student success stories, and university life Lead outreach efforts to prospective students, current graduate students, and NKU alumni to foster engagement and support enrollment pipelines Plan and coordinate communications related to enrollment deadlines, registration processes, and key academic milestones Write, edit, and publish articles, blog posts, newsletters, and other content to support organic marketing of NKU's graduate degree offerings Analyze enrollment data and marketing metrics to assess campaign effectiveness and inform strategy Collaborate with faculty, program directors, and the broader enrollment management team to align messaging with program-specific goals Represent the Office of Graduate Education at recruitment events, information sessions, and community outreach activities
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, higher education administration, or a related field Minimum of two years of experience in enrollment management, higher education marketing, or a related role Strong written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated experience in content writing and editing Proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field Experience in graduate enrollment or higher education recruitment Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Slate) and email marketing tools Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing best practices
