Job Description Visa is seeking a Director of Business Development for the NA Marketing Services team. This leader will be responsible for driving strategic business development initiatives, leading high-impact client engagements, and overseeing the development of compelling RFP responses and pitch materials across all North America clients. In addition to hands-on leadership in key deals, this role will manage and develop a small, high-performing team, ensuring delivery excellence while scaling capabilities, processes, and content to support growth. The Director will act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, influencing client outcomes and enabling revenue growth across issuers, merchants, co-brands, and fintech partners. Strategic Leadership & Business Development Own and drive the business development strategy for NA Marketing Services, aligned with Visa's growth priorities Lead complex, high-value RFP responses, pitch strategies, and deal support to position Visa as a strategic partner Partner with Sales, Product, and Consulting teams to identify opportunities and shape client solutions Deliver thought leadership and innovative marketing perspectives to support client acquisition and growth Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred 10-12+ years of experience, including business development, consulting, marketing, or strategy roles Prior people management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams Deep expertise in RFP processes, sales enablement, and strategic storytelling Strong executive presence with experience engaging senior leaders and influencing decisions Experience in payments, financial services, or client-facing marketing environments preferred U.S. Applicants Only The estimated salary range for this positionis $151,600 to $285,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Work Hours Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
