We are seeking an engineer with knowledge of electrical and control system design for construction site projects. The primary responsibilities of this position include coordinating with customers, subcontractors, and vendors, supporting design activities, and handling EOR (Engineer of Record)-related tasks. In this role, you will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including electrical and control system design, as well as providing technical support during construction and on-site activities.

Responsibilities

    Conduct customer meetings regarding electrical specifications
  • Conduct meetings with subcontractors and EOR vendors
  • Support electrical design activities, including preparation and review of design documents and coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Handle EOR (Engineer of Record)-related activities, including managing the process from coordination with EOR vendors through to completion of permit approvals

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Skills

  • Ability to create and interpret electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, panel drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong basic knowledge of electrical and control system design
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Navisworks.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards and codes such as UL, NEC, and NEMA.

Abilities

  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
    (customers, design teams, and subcontractors)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and work proactively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or controls engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Ability to read electrical drawings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
