Business Intelligence Analyst II

Location: This position requires that you be located in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Florida
Schedule: Full-Time, Remote


Position Summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to transform complex data into actionable insights that support clinical and business decision-making. In this role, you will develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that help drive performance improvement across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
  • Analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
  • Support performance measurement, data collection, and reporting initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and analytics teams to solve business challenges.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and usability across reporting platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data-related issues.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience, including 2 years of data analytics experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience or exposure to SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of relational databases and healthcare data preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum 30.53/hour - Maximum 53.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
