Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a senior software engineer for TCS, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing software for the US Navy. This team is responsible for software development and resolution of integration issues, both in a laboratory environment and onboard U.S. Navy submarines and ships.

• Experience using Linux (OS comprehension and shell scripting), preferably Red Hat or derivatives
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging software integration and operating system issues
• Knowledge of containerization technologies on Linux OS (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes)

• Strong understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, and agile methodology
• Experience with configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, software development (Java, C/C++, Python), and deployment of production-quality software
• Experience with open-source software and custom software, as well as integration between software applications

• Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity

Workplace Options:

This position is fully on-site. While on-site, you will be a part of the Manassas, VA facility.

Target salary range: USD $95,384.00/Yr. - USD $105,817.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
