Your Job

As a Production Manager, you will lead manufacturing operations to deliver on safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will be responsible for driving daily execution, building team capability, and ensuring consistent, reliable performance within your area.

Our Team

You will join a cross-functional manufacturing division that produces plastic and metal components across a range of processes. The team partners with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Operational Excellence (OpEx) to support production, improve performance, and meet customer needs.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and develop production and maintenance teams to meet output, quality, safety, and on-time delivery targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring processes are efficient, stable, and meeting customer requirements.
  • Drive accountability within the team to meet performance goals across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Address production challenges through structured problem-solving and ensure timely resolution of issues impacting performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to support production needs and resolve operational challenges.
  • Plan staffing, capacity, and production schedules across shifts to meet demand while maintaining a safe and engaged workforce.
  • Establish and maintain standard work and operating rhythms to ensure consistency and execution discipline.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs, OEE) and take action to close gaps and improve results.
  • Coordinate with support functions, including Maintenance and OpEx, to implement improvements that enhance operational performance.
  • Manage budgets and production-related costs to drive efficiency and meet business objectives.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field-or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production environment.
  • Experience leading teams with accountability for safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage daily operations and resolve production issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production performance metrics (KPIs, OEE).

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience supporting continuous improvement or Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Track record of improving production performance through team leadership and execution.
  • Experience leading multi-shift manufacturing operations.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions or production ramp-ups.
  • Strong ability to develop, engage, and grow team capability.

For this role, we anticipate paying $80,000 - $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
