Truliant's mission is to improve lives by putting our members first, providing great service and straightforward financial solutions. Our core values of Member Focus, Service, Guidance, Relationships, and Community define how we interact with members to fulfill our mission of improving lives and providing a foundation on which we conduct ourselves.

Our Promise to Our Teammates: Truliant strives to provide all teammates with an enjoyable place to work where they feel valued, empowered and rewarded for all that they do.

Why this role matters

At Truliant Federal Credit Union, every member interaction is an opportunity to make banking feel simpler, more personal, and more helpful. As a Roving Relationship Banker, you'll support branches across an assigned market, stepping in where members and teams need you most while helping members manage their financial lives with confidence.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building trusted relationships, and using financial knowledge to create a better member experience across multiple branch locations.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll provide flexible branch support while handling a mix of teller transactions, account opening and maintenance, lending support, member guidance, and service recovery. You'll help uncover member needs, connect them to the right Truliant solutions, and contribute to strong branch performance through responsive, accurate, and relationship-focused service.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their financial needs, review credit opportunities, and connect them with helpful products, services, or business partners.
  • Process transactions, account maintenance, new accounts, loan applications, IRA maintenance, business service requests, and follow-up activities accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide coverage across assigned branch locations, adapting to different teams, priorities, schedules, and member needs while maintaining confidentiality and service standards.

Beyond that, your work will include helping resolve account issues, supporting branch goals, educating members on convenient banking tools, and collaborating with branch leaders and partner lines of business to create a consistent, positive experience for Truliant's member-owners.

What you bring

We're looking for someone who is member-focused, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced branch environment where priorities can change. You'll be successful here if you can balance accuracy, relationship-building, sound judgment, and follow-through while supporting different branches and member needs.

This role is a great fit if you have:

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills:

  • Build rapport with members, ask thoughtful questions, and identify financial needs or referral opportunities.
  • Process teller transactions, account opening and maintenance, loan requests, and other member service activities accurately.
  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with members, teammates, and business partners.
  • Apply financial services concepts, procedures, regulations, compliance expectations, security practices, and audit guidelines consistently.
  • Use basic computer skills, arithmetic skills, and attention to detail to complete work accurately and stay organized.
  • Support service recovery by researching member issues, resolving what you can, and escalating appropriately when needed.
  • Understand basic credit underwriting concepts and branch lending processes.
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality when handling member accounts and sensitive information.
  • Work with minimal supervision while shifting priorities, resources, and tasks as branches needs change.

Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Notary appointment is required, or you must be able to obtain Notary status within 3 months of hire.

You should also be comfortable moving between branch environments, learning each team's rhythm quickly, and staying focused on accuracy and

service even when the day is busy or priorities shift.

What sets you apart

You don't need to check every box, but here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • 3+ years of related experience in retail, financial services, or a similar member/customer-facing environment.
  • Previous sales experience with the ability to identify needs and connect people with relevant solutions.
  • Previous lending experience or additional familiarity with deposit, loan, IRA, business services, and specialty account support.
  • A bachelor's degree.

What you'll get

  • We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.
  • In this role, you can expect:
  • The opportunity to make a visible impact across multiple Truliant branches by supporting members, branch teams, and business goals where your help is needed most.
  • Ongoing exposure to a broad range of branch operations, including member service, lending, deposits, account maintenance, referrals, and service recovery, helping you continue building a well-rounded financial services skill set.
  • A collaborative culture centered on enhancing members' financial lives and helping them see Truliant Federal Credit Union as their preferred financial partner.
  • Meaningful relationship-building with members, branch leaders, teammates, and partner lines of business across the credit union.
  • A role with variety, movement, and growth potential for someone who enjoys learning different branch environments and contributing wherever support is needed.
