Position Overview
More than perhaps any other factor, the degree to which a university attracts and retains qualified students determines the success or failure of that institution. The Enrollment Management (EM) division is a key player in this activity and has a profound effect on the institution's success. The division is committed to developing a data-informed, forward-looking, comprehensive enrollment strategy that enables the institution to pursue strategic goals in an integrated and intentional manner.

Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) reports to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management. The GEM unit collaborates closely with all offices within EM, the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs (GPA), and Academic Success (AS) to ensure that prospective students, applicants, and program faculty and staff are supported during the graduate inquiry, application, admission, and new student enrollment process. The unit also ensures that policies for graduate admissions are upheld and formally admits graduate students on behalf of the GPA.

The Business to University (B2U) Recruiter will be responsible for the development and management of employer-university collaborations that expand access to KU graduate programs for working professionals. This role also serves as the primary liaison to corporate, nonprofit, and external collaborators, overseeing outreach, daily operations, and alignment between employer workforce development needs and KU's graduate academic offerings.

This role collaborates closely with the Associate Director for Graduate Student Recruitment to assess employer needs, identify aligned graduate programs, and streamline recruitment, communication, and operational processes that support employees who are upskilling or advancing their career goals through KU graduate education.

This position works directly with Human Resources (HR) leaders and organizational representatives to promote KU graduate program opportunities to their employees and support prospective and current students as they navigate application, enrollment, and academic processes.

In addition to a competitive salary, KU offers great benefits to employees with up to 176 hours of paid vacation per year, 96 hours of sick leave earned per year, 9 paid holidays plus one discretionary day, a great retirement program, medical and dental insurance, life and disability insurance, other benefit plan options and state of Kansas discounts offered by various vendors.
