Warehouse Associate - Entry Level La Porte, TX Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour 26-04895 Job Summary The Warehouse Associateis responsible for safely loading trucks, handling shipping and receiving activities, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role primarily involves loading large bore plastic pipes, palletized fittings, and spools using sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse operations and forklift operation. Job Responsibilities Safely load trucks with large bore plastic pipe, palletized fittings, and spools Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and yard Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials and inventory Maintain organized staging areas to support shipping and receiving operations Ensure all shipments are loaded securely and safely according to company procedures Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times Assist with general warehouse duties and material handling as needed Support inventory control and product organization within the warehouse and yard areas Job Requirements Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse and sit-down forklift experience required Forklift operator experience required Ability to safely load and move large materials in a warehouse or pipe yard environment Strong reliability and consistent work history with no more than 3 months of employment gaps preferred Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations preferred Combilift experience preferred Ability to learn product knowledge quickly Strong attention to safety procedures and warehouse best practices Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, loading, and material handling Steel-toed boots required Work Experience Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, delivery, or inventory control preferred Experience working in pipe yards, industrial warehouses, or construction material environments preferred About Equiliem Equiliem believes in empowering success.
