Job Summary
The Warehouse Associateis responsible for safely loading trucks, handling shipping and receiving activities, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role primarily involves loading large bore plastic pipes, palletized fittings, and spools using sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse operations and forklift operation.

Job Responsibilities



  • Safely load trucks with large bore plastic pipe, palletized fittings, and spools
  • Operate sit-down forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and yard
  • Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials and inventory
  • Maintain organized staging areas to support shipping and receiving operations
  • Ensure all shipments are loaded securely and safely according to company procedures
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all times
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and material handling as needed
  • Support inventory control and product organization within the warehouse and yard areas


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 6 months of recent warehouse and sit-down forklift experience required
  • Forklift operator experience required
  • Ability to safely load and move large materials in a warehouse or pipe yard environment
  • Strong reliability and consistent work history with no more than 3 months of employment gaps preferred
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations preferred
  • Combilift experience preferred
  • Ability to learn product knowledge quickly
  • Strong attention to safety procedures and warehouse best practices
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, loading, and material handling
  • Steel-toed boots required


Work Experience



  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, delivery, or inventory control preferred
  • Experience working in pipe yards, industrial warehouses, or construction material environments preferred
