Job Summary

The Machine Build Readiness Coordinator is responsible for supporting machine design and assembly operations by ensuring all required materials, components, and documentation are properly received, organized, and prepared for production. This role coordinates with multiple teams to track parts availability, resolve material issues, and ensure assembly readiness. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, inspect, and check in Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) parts and custom machine components
  • Monitor and track outstanding parts to ensure timely delivery and availability for assembly operations
  • Consolidate, organize, and stage COTS and machined components for machine builds
  • Obtain, print, and organize required documentation, including TLAs, schematics, and work instructions
  • Coordinate with technicians, machine shop personnel, and requesters to resolve issues involving missing, incorrect, or delayed parts
  • Package, crate, and pallet completed kits for shipment and delivery
  • Notify requesters when kits and materials are complete and ready for shipment or pickup
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, materials, and project readiness status
  • Support overall workflow efficiency by ensuring materials and documentation are available when needed


Job Requirements



  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and coordinate effectively across departments and teams
  • Mechanically inclined with a general technical understanding preferred
  • Basic familiarity with SolidWorks preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to perform occasional physically demanding tasks, including lifting and material handling
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or assembly environment
