Prepare for and conduct new employee orientations, both in person and virtually Manage the partnership with an external vendor for all DOT-related compliance, including employee files, random drug screens, federal medical exams, and other regulatory requirements Provide HR guidance and support to supervisors and managers Serve as a backup to recruiters by assisting with phone screens, interview scheduling, pre-employment physicals, and motor vehicle record (MVR) checks. Maintain accurate and confidential personnel and medical files Assist with leave management, including form administration and employee communication Process employee status changes in a timely and accurate manner Act as backup to the HR Manager for reporting workplace injuries to the workers' compensation insurance provider Support wage and benefits surveys and contribute to special projects that enhance HR services and operations What We're Looking for 3+ years of experience preferred Highly desired experience in managing the partnership with external vendors for ALL DOT-related compliance, including employee files, random drug screens, federal medical exams, and other regulatory requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office tools (ADP, Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High attention to detail and accuracy Strong judgment and decision-making skills Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity Valid driver's license Personal Attributes Self-starter with a proactive mindset Collaborative team player Continuously looks for ways to improve people, processes, and systems Our Commitment to You Wis-Pak/WP Beverage is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
