Job Description




As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a secure environment through visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and visitor processing at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, review credentials and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, control rooms, and other sensitive locations.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
  • Document visitor activity, access-related incidents, and daily observations in required logs and reports, following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations to observe conditions and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
