What this job involves:

As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional project outcomes across financial services, retail, and office space projects while continuously improving our client experience. This role sits at the intersection of strategic leadership and hands-on project execution, where you'll manage complex real estate initiatives from inception to completion. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Project Delivery Excellence: Managing and leading multiple real estate projects from concept through closeout, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery that exceeds quality standards and client expectations across financial services, retail, and office space sectors.

  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams through proactive communication, regular status updates, and collaborative problem-solving throughout the entire project lifecycle.

  • Team Leadership and Development: Leading cross-functional project teams by setting clear expectations, delegating responsibilities effectively, fostering a collaborative culture, and empowering team members to deliver their best work while supporting their professional growth.

  • Comprehensive Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, risk assessment, and contingency planning while continuously monitoring progress against milestones and KPIs.

  • Financial Oversight: Managing project budgets from planning through completion, tracking expenses, processing change orders, forecasting costs, and providing transparent financial reporting to stakeholders to ensure fiscal responsibility.

  • Quality Assurance: Implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control processes, conducting site inspections, reviewing deliverables against specifications, and ensuring all work complies with building codes, regulations, and JLL standards.

  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes, adopting innovative project management methodologies and digital tools, and sharing best practices across the organization to drive operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field demonstrating foundational knowledge in project management principles and technical understanding of construction and real estate development.

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in project management within the real estate, construction, or commercial property development industry, with demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to create schedules, track budgets, generate reports, and present data effectively to stakeholders.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, principles, and best practices including scope management, risk mitigation, resource planning, and change management processes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams across all organizational levels.

  • Demonstrated leadership capability to effectively motivate, guide, and coordinate project teams, resolve conflicts, make decisive decisions under pressure, and maintain high levels of team engagement and performance.

  • Exceptional organizational abilities with strong attention to detail, superior time management skills, and proven capacity to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute or equivalent credential demonstrating advanced project management knowledge and commitment to professional standards.

  • Direct experience managing construction projects in office buildings, financial centers, or corporate headquarters environments, with understanding of the unique requirements, regulations, and stakeholder expectations in these sectors.

  • Experience working within a global, matrixed organizational structure with exposure to cross-regional collaboration, diverse cultural contexts, and the ability to navigate complex reporting relationships effectively.

  • Working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards (ADA), sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL), and environmental compliance requirements applicable to commercial real estate projects.

  • Familiarity with digital project management platforms, Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction technology tools, and emerging PropTech solutions that enhance project delivery efficiency and collaboration.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess complex situations, evaluate multiple solutions, make data-driven decisions, and implement creative approaches to overcome project challenges.

  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience with proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, pivot quickly in response to changing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Active commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education, industry certifications, conference participation, or involvement in professional organizations such as PMI, CMAA, or similar associations.

Estimated compensation for this position:

73,500.00 - 90,100.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
