Executive Service REGISTERED NURSE 2* Department of Disability and Aging Arlington, TN Salary: $ 28.07 -$35.04 Hourly Closing Date: 05/10/2026Background Check: This position requires a criminal background check. Therefore, you may be required to provide information about your criminal history in order to be considered for this position. A Motor Vehicle Records screening will be conducted prior to employment. This position is a part time position located in the West Tennessee Homes Division. Who we are and what we do: The Department of Disability and Aging supports people to live the lives they envision for themselves by ensuring people can exercise rights, engage with the community and experience optimal health. At DDA, we are responsible for administration and oversight of services and supports for more than 1.5 million older adults and Tennesseans with disabilities Job Overview: Provides nursing care and procedures according to physician orders and nursing protocol. Performs initial and ongoing assessments according to protocol. Documents, completes, and maintains patient health and medication records. Makes adjustments to the plan of care including changes to the patient's goals and nursing interventions. Explains tests, procedures, and results to appropriate individuals according to protocol. Communicates with both internal and external entities. Educates the health care plan to patient, family, individuals, groups, and others as appropriate. Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Currently Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Necessary Special Qualifications: Currently Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). A Valid motor vehicle license is required.
