Intern Terminal Systems Engineering

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic engineer to join our innovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing specifications, and integrating various terminal subsystems used in satellite communications. This role involves creating applications for satellite user terminals and tools that validate various interface functions and protocols. Additionally, the engineer will assist in characterizing the performance of various virtualized applications, develop acceptance test plans, and validate 5G NTN terminal subsystems to ensure they conform to our next-generation networks. The position also includes setting up and conducting proof-of-concept demonstrations for various subsystems that will be part of our next-generation networks.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In this context, your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate next-generation 5G NTN and traditional terminal subsystems.
  • Create, validate and simulate terminal subsystems based on the KPI using tools such as MATLAB, Python.
  • Develop tools to evaluate various interface functions and protocols.
  • Design and develop applications for terminals.
  • Prepare acceptance test plans and validate 5G NTN terminal subsystems.
  • Set up and demonstrate various terminal subsystems.
  • Assist the team in evaluating the performance of various subsystems and applications.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Proficiency in programming using Python, C/C++, MATLAB and/or Java.
  • Experience working with Linux-based systems.
  • Basic knowledge of SharePoint management and ServiceNow platform
