Security Officer - Access Screening

As a Security Officer - Access Screening in Highlands Ranch, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. The Security Officer - Access Screening will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support a professional, welcoming environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and document access activity in support of security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Support security-related operations within a financial services location by assisting with lobby traffic flow, directing visitors, and maintaining clear communication during routine and escalated events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
