GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Projects/Operations has leadership responsibility for all aspects of LensCrafters key initiatives as the brand continues to grow in the medical and surgery landscape. This includes responsibility for providing an operations leadership role for brand team projects and leading and developing direct reports.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership



  • Provide leadership and support on LC brand initiatives to ensure the field is positioned to execute with excellence.
  • Create PM processes and chair the development of all long-term projects across all project phases.
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with all brand team members, field leadership and CSC departments to stay informed and abreast of new initiatives and business processes.
  • Champion the development and sustainment of the operations activity calendar.
  • Maintain and coordinate to ensure priorities are balanced and manageable.
  • Lead and develop direct reports.


Direct Execution and Management of RTB (Run the Business) and Projects



  • Lead and deliver project work plans that include clear objectives and time lines; identify needed resources and provide accurate estimate costs. Communicate progress and results.
  • Responsible for development and sustainment of the in-store customer experience.
  • Responsible for development and integrity of all store Policy and Procedures.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with CSC Departments.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to evaluate alternative solutions to drive positive project outcomes
  • Oversee direction and ensure execution of project plans.
  • Provides communication content for all projects and initiatives to the Communication Team.


Process Improvement



  • Establish processes and tools to efficiently analyze overall effectiveness.
  • Ensure field feedback on all initiatives is captured and incorporated for process improvement.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • 10+ year's leadership experience in multi-unit retail industry environment
  • 10+ years project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Self-governing
  • Visionary/Strategic minded
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of store operations
  • Critical thinking/Analytical skills
  • Ability to influence/negotiate
  • Retail industry knowledge
  • Organizational Skills
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work ethic - flexibility in hours worked



Pay Range:163,117.15-226,970.52

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business.Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
