Team Lead, Business Analysis

Infor
United States, Georgia, Atlanta
May 01, 2026

The Team Lead, Business Analysis provides leadership and oversees the daily work of a select group of business analysts within the Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline) development organization. The Team Lead assigns, plans, and coordinates the analysis work required to design, develop, and launch efficient business and operational processes that support Syteline's manufacturing and supply chain functionality. This includes gathering and analyzing customer and market requirements in support of business cases, proposed enhancements, and functional specifications for new modules or changes to existing CSI capabilities such as Production Planning, MRP, APS, Shop Floor Control, Engineering/BOM/Routing, Quality (CSI Quality/QCS), Inventory, Procurement, Customer Order Management, Product Costing, and Financials.

The Team Lead is accountable for team performance, delivery timelines, the completeness and quality of requirement artifacts, and customer interactions for assigned CSI accounts and partner engagements. This individual applies strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills-along with deep ERP and manufacturing domain knowledge-to maximize the value customers realize from Infor CloudSuite Industrial.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

  • Collecting and analyzing business requirements from CSI customers, partners, consultants, and internal product stakeholders, and translating them into clear, actionable input for the CSI/Syteline development team (UI, APS engine, and integration layers).
  • Synthesizing input from workshops, support trends, partner feedback, enhancement requests (ERs), and industry research to identify patterns and help prioritize improvements across manufacturing scenarios (discrete, process, mixed-mode, engineer-to-order, and project-based).
  • Partnering with Product Management, Development, QA, and Cloud Operations through design and implementation to ensure features align with manufacturing practices, CSI's multi-site architecture, and Infor OS/CloudSuite integration standards (e.g., ION, IDM, OS Portal, Mongoose, APIs).
  • Producing complete, developer-ready requirement artifacts (PRDs, functional specs, and user stories) including screen/layout guidance, IDO/business-logic behavior, workflow/events, reporting needs, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Managing change requests through the feature lifecycle, including scope coordination, impact analysis, and alignment with Development and QA to protect release commitments and code-freeze milestones.
  • Preparing and delivering reports and recommendations that address pain points and opportunity areas across CSI-whether in core manufacturing modules, APS, cloud deployment, upgrade tooling, or integration with adjacent products (e.g., Factory Track...).
  • Leading and developing the BA team by mentoring analysts, reviewing requirement artifacts for quality, balancing workload across releases, and representing the team in release planning, sprint ceremonies, design reviews, and cross-product coordination.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and documenting business processes in an ERP context, specifically within manufacturing environments (discrete, process, mixed-mode, engineer-to-order, or project-based).
  • Working knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Industrial / Syteline or a comparable manufacturing ERP (e.g., Infor LN, Infor M3, SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM, Epicor Kinetic, IFS, QAD).
  • Familiarity with core manufacturing ERP domains such as BOM/routing, MRP and APS-based planning and scheduling, shop floor execution, production costing, inventory, procurement, customer order management, and financial integration.
  • Experience gathering and interpreting customer and market data, including running discovery sessions, workshops, and requirement reviews with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience producing product requirement document, functional specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that developers can act on without ambiguity.
  • Experience organizing and moderating customer-facing or internal requirement presentations, design reviews, and cross-functional working sessions.
  • Comfort working within an Agile/Scrum delivery model alongside globally distributed development, QA, and product management teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior hands-on experience with Syteline.
  • Exposure to Infor OS components.
  • Familiarity with cloud ERP delivery models, multi-tenant considerations.
  • Experience leading or mentoring analysts in a distributed team environment across geographies.
  • Background working with Infor implementation partners or having implemented CSI as a consultant or end-user.
