Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares coach, powers up equipment and ensures that doors and ramps are ready for patient use.
- Prepares equipment for transport to and from sites and anticipates arrival and set up as part of the preparation.
- Maintains mileage and fuel purchase records, and driver log according to DOT regulations
- Observes safety and security at all times obeying laws and speed limits.
- Maintains a valid CDL at all times
- Driving record clear of offenses
- Valid medical examination at all times is required and examination performed when due.
- Understands and provides records pertaining to the tractor trailer.
- Assists management with the record keeping of the tractor trailer.
- Notifies the appropriate service personnel when necessary
- Assist clinical partner(s) with patient care and other duties when asked
- Assist with exam set up; replace linens, coil selection and placement, supply preparation, clean up
- Use software systems proficiently to assist in monitoring patient histories prior to appointment dates, review patient screening form, import/scan documentation, and export as necessary.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Clean driving record. 3 years experience in driving tractor/trailers.
Certification and Licensure
Approved CPR or BLS certification Maintain a valid driver license, Class A CDL
For those driving Mercyhealth vehicles: Maintain a valid driver's license. Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
For those driving their personal vehicles: Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance when requested. Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy.
Skills and Abilities
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order processing systems.

Direct supervisor is Team Lead at Perryville.Indirect supervisor is Director of Occ Med.The position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
