Technical Lead The Opportunity: We are seeking a Technical Lead to support initiatives that modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs' VADIR platform. In this role, you will leverage modern data engineering practices, cloud-native tools, and automation to address complex data challenges. Your technical expertise will guide architecture decisions, build resilient and scalable pipelines, and ensure data assets are well-governed, discoverable, and ready for analytics and application use across the VA. You will evaluate and recommend tools and solutions informed by current environments, industry standards, and modern DevSecOps and DataOps practices. Collaborating with software engineers, product teams, architects, and stakeholders, you will develop and maintain secure, automated, and highly available data services. Technologies used may include AWS cloud services, orchestration platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, event streaming tools, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver robust, mission-aligned solutions. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
