The Finance Knowledge Management Senior Associate is accountable for overseeing the management of Finance's knowledge platforms, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint Modern, and ServiceNow. These platforms serve as highly visible resources across the entire enterprise. Responsibilities will involve contributing to the revamping of Finance's intranet using SharePoint Modern, ensuring the accuracy of Finance information in ServiceNow's employee center, streamlining Finance content for internal Finance personnel, monitoring site usage, handling security and permissions requests, and proposing enhancements to improve the overall user experience. The Finance Knowledge Management Senior Associate will collaborate closely with the Finance Knowledge Management Executive Sponsor and various departments within the Finance organization to gain insights into their respective processes and policies. This collaborative effort will enable clear and accessible methods to effectively communicate Finance information. Additional tasks will encompass troubleshooting technical issues, refining content for better comprehension, and orchestrating and implementing project plans. This position will also offer support for enterprise knowledge management initiatives and activities, ongoing system maintenance, assistance with training, reporting, and facilitating operational adoption.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, capture, organize, and evaluate knowledge assets for enterprise-wide utilization.

  • Cultivate a robust culture of knowledge sharing within Finance and advocate for the implementation of KM initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to Enterprise KM governance, architectural guidelines, and established procedures.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to review and revise content regularly, ensuring its continued relevance.

  • Consult with relevant stakeholders to provide guidance on knowledge requests and projects.

  • Monitor usage patterns, conduct thorough search, and other analytics reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.

  • Maintain and update metadata as required to ensure accurate categorization and retrieval of information.

  • Manage permissions and promptly address access requests to ensure secure and authorized access to knowledge resources.

  • Timely resolution and escalation of technical issues in accordance with established protocols.

  • Proficiently work with Finance web applications across SharePoint and ServiceNow environments.

  • Proactively engaging with Finance stakeholders to gather insights and perspectives on ongoing changes.

  • Efficiently oversee and manage a diverse array of knowledge management projects, ensuring streamlined coordination, effective communication, and timely delivery of key milestones.

  • Process urgent requests promptly and navigate through approval procedures as needed.

  • Utilize critical thinking to ensure content is in the right place according to type of content, audience, and purpose.

  • Assist the Enterprise KM team in conducting annual quality assurance checks to ensure the sustained effectiveness of knowledge management strategies

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-7 years of knowledge management and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of SharePoint 2013-2019 or Office 365

  • Advanced experience using Microsoft SharePoint Online (M365) classic and modern environments

  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Forms or equivalent

  • Understands project lifecycles

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Understands principles of knowledge management

  • Can work in a matrix reporting structure

  • Ability to think analytically to solve complex problems and issues required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure required

  • Ability to advocate and articulate KM best practices

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience using Microsoft Visio

  • Modern environment or related applications

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow

  • Working knowledge of core knowledge management principles and practices.

  • Demonstrated accountability for sharing knowledge, standards, and best practices.

  • Experience interpreting web and content analytics to assess usage and effectiveness.

  • Proven ability to operate independently with minimal direction

  • Strong attention to detail and followthrough.

  • Ability to translate functional and technical concepts into plain language.

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting or leading operational process improvement.

  • Consistent ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $77,700 - $128,200

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
