As a Security Officer Screening Examiner in McDonough, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic retail location, where you will help monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Screen visitors, team members, packages, and/or merchandise in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and support orderly movement of people throughout the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
