Omni Frisco Hotel at the Star



The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is more than just the official hotel of the Dallas Cowboys, it's the social hub for great food, fun and nightlife. Position: Server


Department: Room Service


Purpose: To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.



Reports to: Room Service Manager, Assistant Room Service Manager, Room Service Captain



Essential Functions:



  • Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials.
  • Prepare, deliver and service orders.
  • Always inquire if additional service is needed.
  • Responsible for each check.
  • Responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
  • Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity.
  • Responsible for hospitality set-up.
  • Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
  • Complete all side duties as assigned.
  • Must minimize breakage.
  • Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:



  • Responsible for breaking down of dirty tables and trays.



  • Responsible for answering phone if Order taker is not present.



Tools and Equipment:



  • Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine



  • Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, hot box,



Working Environment:



  • Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom. Exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
