In a typical day, the temporary SFDC/CPQ Instructional Designer partners closely with product owners, SMEs, and enablement stakeholders to understand upcoming system enhancements and their impact on end users. They translate functional changes into clear training requirements, own the end-to-end enablement workstream for assigned initiatives, design and develop targeted learning assets such as simulations, quick reference guides, and short eLearning modules, and prepare materials for timely launch aligned to release schedules. The role also includes monitoring learner effectiveness through surveys and simulations, hosting office hours to support adoption, and responding to end-user questions to ensure new functionality is understood and applied correctly. The role also includes developing and executing change management and communication plans to ensure users are informed, prepared, and supported throughout the release lifecycle. This includes preparing materials for timely launch aligned to release schedules, managing communication touchpoints (e.g., announcements, reminders, release highlights), and ensuring consistency of messaging across channels. Success in this role requires strong project ownership, the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and a proactive approach to driving user adoption. Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $45.96 to $85.00 per hour at the time of posting.
