| Position Highlights |
The School of Nutritional Sciences & and Wellness seeks applications for an Instructional Specialist. This position is responsible for helping prepare training resources and educational material for Extension educators delivering nutrition, physical activity and other health education programs in Arizona. This position will also help deliver programs such as the Diabetes Prevention Program. Duties and responsibilities include updating existing material, creating training presentations, and supporting program participants directly. This part-time position is grant funded and will work under the direction of the Extension Nutrition Specialist in the School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness. | Duties & Responsibilities |
- Update and develop new training resources for county-based Extension educators.
- Develop new education material for nutrition, physical activity, and other health education programs such as the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
- Provide information and support the delivery of health, nutrition and physical activity education programs in Extension such as the National Diabetes Prevention Program.
- Attend or participate in relevant training, continuing education events, program meetings, and other events as appropriate.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.

- Bachelor degree in health, nutrition or related related field.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
