Ranch Hand is excited to announce we will be relocating our Shiner & Beeville locations to Seguin Texas! This role will initially be based in Beeville Texas with a targeted relocation to Seguin in September-October 2026. Travel assistance will be available to Team Members if needed!

Starting Pay: $24.00/hr

Monday - Friday; 5am to 4:00pm

CDL Driver:

The driver is responsible for transporting Ranch Hand product between our Shiner Plant and Beeville Plant. Driver may be responsible for transporting pallets from our vendor to our plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Able to back trailers into defined confined areas
  2. Able to make decisions on which vehicles to move based on inventory and product being loaded at dock
  3. Perform all required safety checks on truck to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  4. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  5. Immediately report all safety hazards.
  6. Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and to/from designated parking area.
  7. Ensure that tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.
  8. Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area
  9. Coordination of necessary paperwork at the time of departure, at time of delivery, and at time of return;
  10. At the end of the shift secure all equipment.
  11. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1.High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

2.CDL required.
Essential Functions:

  1. Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
  2. Valid non-commercial driver's license
  3. Pass drug test

Competencies:

  1. Must be organized and can work in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals;
  3. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate a tablet/device and/or a fleet software system.
  4. Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English);
  5. Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects;
  6. Must be able to work with minimum supervision;
  7. Must demonstrate competency in transportation and over-the-road responsibilities;
  8. Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary;
  9. Must be able to operate a Lift Truck or Tractor as necessary;
  10. Must possess successful problem solving skills;
  11. Must be able to exhibit tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.;
  12. Must be able to work under physically and mentally stressful situations;
  13. Must be able to prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.

Physical Demands:

  1. Requires full use of hands, arms, legs, and feet
  2. Climb 3 feet to get into tractor cab
  3. Ability to lift up to 55lbs.
  4. Requires reaching/pulling/pushing to hitch and unhitch trailer, connect and disconnect brake lines
  5. Requires 50% sitting for driving vehicle, and 30% standing and walking to spot trailers and take inventory
  6. Requires 100% hand use for steering/shifting vehicle, and for hand crank

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Six to Twelve month experience preferred.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
