Responsibilities: As a key contributor, you will be instrumental in:
- Researching and developing policies and communication strategies concerning freedom of expression, online offerings, online safety, cybersecurity, and privacy.
- Critically analyzing and articulating the benefits and challenges of policy refinements and their implementation.
- Preparing essential policy-related documents, including enforcement protocols.
- Conducting in-depth research on emerging policy areas relevant to the company's mission.
- Collaborating closely with senior team members on diverse and impactful projects.
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of US politics, with specific knowledge of the current administration.
- Baseline knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) concepts.
- Demonstrated interest in politics, policy, social media, online content and advertising, e-commerce, and/or technology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of prominent national think tanks and policy research institutions, including:
- Cato Institute
- Institute for Free Speech
- People United for Privacy Foundation
- R-Street Institute
- Hoover Institute
- George Mason University
- National Review
- Federalist Society
- Gatestone Institute
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
