Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. Job Title: Legal Consultant - II Job Location: Basking Ridge, NJ

4 weeks of training will be required, Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. It is imperative that the new hire DOES NOT miss training as missing one day will delay their onboarding and cause delays for the entire training class.

2 days a week from home, 3 in the office.

Must have the ability to apply for Government Clearance.

Job Description:

Court Order Compliance group support - The incumbent will work within the Criminal Response Team. Please note this is a high-volume environment. Confidentiality and attention to detail are a must. We want this person to work independently and be able to problem-solve issues. Utilize sound judgment. Communicating with the law enforcement community regarding life-threatening situations 24x7x365 by answering calls, authenticating the caller in order to provide law enforcement with the customer records needed for the high-priority emergent matters.

Demonstrating a keen ability to multi-task while still making sound decisions under high-pressure situations, life and death situations. Ensuring that all cases are correctly documented and managed end to end in compliance with all applicable laws and company procedures. This includes validating, logging, and responding to all subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants served upon the company for customer records. Demonstrating sound decision-making and understanding of when a matter needs to be escalated/referred to management to achieve the best possible outcome for all parties. Managing workload effectively to complete high-priority tasks within compliance guidelines.

An understanding of and willingness to learn about basic legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures. Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. This includes a combination of data entry of legal process into our workflow management system and handling calls. Strong customer service or dispatch-like experience for handling high call volumes of a dynamic nature. Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output. The ability to work independently, Accuracy and Attention to detail, Customer Service experience a plus, Proficient typing and transcription, Computer and technical skills, Organizational and time management abilities.

Paralegal certificate is not required but any legal background, education, or experience is preferred.
