Job Summary: This position will monitor (including transactions, physical location, and cycle counts) production floor inventory assets on one or more programs as assigned. Maintain constant liaison with Inventory Control Supervisor, production areas, planning, receiving inspection and procurement. Obtain program information from Status Reports, production, purchasing, etc. Coordinates the virtual (electronic) and physical movement of materials. Provide direction to production and quality personnel regarding material processing. Report shortages to Inventory Control Supervisor. Diagnose troubled areas, communicate problems to supervisor, suggest solutions/improvements and take corrective action. Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors' Degree preferred but not required. Interest in Higher Education Required. Experience: Minimum of 3 years working familiarity and understanding of production control processes and procedures. Microsoft Office experience, including Excel and Word. Advanced System skills including: Matrix, WDS, TipQA, DCS. Kaman is an equal opportunity employer.
