Dean of Education & Human Development Job Description
Summary The Assistant Director of Human Resources serves as a trusted, confidential advisor and HR thought partner to the Dean of the College of Education and Human Development. This role provides expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, performance management, and workforce decisions, requiring strong judgment, professionalism, and the ability to build trust when handling sensitive and complex matters. Reporting directly to the Dean with accountability to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources, the position acts as the primary liaison between the College and the Office of Human Resources while ensuring effective and collaborative execution of HR initiatives. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
SHRM or HRCI Certification and/or advanced degree preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
