Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering ( ESE) is one of eight academic units in the Gillings School of Global Public Health. The Department's primary focus is on research and graduate education at the interface of the environment and human health, with an increasing emphasis on undergraduate education. The Department has tenured and tenure-track faculty, academic fixed-term faculty and research faculty. The current student body comprises approximately 120 graduate students and 50 undergraduate students.
Position Summary
This temporary research scientist will assist in the drafting and completion of molecular toxicology manuscripts in the Rager lab. Other duties may include assistant with ongoing lab experiments and manuscript editing tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
