As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a respected cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, public spaces, and surrounding areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout galleries, public areas, entrances, exits, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, support visitor flow, and help to protect artwork, exhibits, and property by observing activity and addressing policy violations through professional communication.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, support crowd management during events and high-traffic periods, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
