Diagnostics Systems Engineer

Diagnostics Systems Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the anticipated worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the anticipated worksite.  Refine existing platform system requirements as needed to provide diagnostic and configuration capabilities to new content within the existing ADAS system. As part of the development process, follow new and modified requirements through validation, working closely with implementing and testing teams to ensure the requirements are met. For new vehicle programs utilizing an existing ADAS system, review validation results for acceptance and investigate any variations in performance from previous vehicles with that system. Process performance deviations where acceptable. Lead cross-functional efforts to root-cause diagnostic performance concerns identified during pre-production build phases and post-production.
