The Fleet Parts Specialist performs technical, clerical, and operational work, including parts identification, ordering, receiving, inventory control, accounts payable, and customer service. Salary Range
: $28.63 - $35.74 / hourly; $59,550.40 - $74,339.20 / annually The City of Eugene determines starting pay within the range based on relevant education and experience as provided by the applicant in their application materials. Qualifications
Experience: Four years of progressively responsible automotive/equipment parts and supply clerk experience, including two years of purchasing responsibility. Training: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic computer training and college or trade school coursework in business, inventory management or purchasing is preferred. License or Certificate: Valid Oregon driver's license (or, the ability to obtain by date of hire Possession of or ability to obtain ASE Fleet Parts Specialist certifications (P1 and P2) within one year or within two ASE test cycles. Possession of or ability to obtain a forklift certification within first six months of hire. Background - Must pass a background check. Physical - Must pass a physical assessment and drug test.
