Position Summary: The Cook prepares and serves nutritious meals for students and staff at the Job Corps center, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and supporting the overall wellness of the student community. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare, cook, and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and storage areas * Follow portion control and food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations * Assist with menu planning and inventory rotation * Provide a positive dining experience that supports student health and morale Qualifications: * Valid Food Handler's Permit (required) * Prior experience in institutional, cafeteria, or commercial food service * Knowledge of safe food handling practices and sanitation standards * Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends Job Corps Culture & Work Environment: At Job Corps, every meal is more than food - it's fuel for student success.
