Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Full Time

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Officer in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech location as an unarmed officer in a driving post, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and provide standout customer service and communication. In this role, you will help to discourage security-related incidents while staying visible, responsive, and professional. Pay Rate: $26.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, exterior areas, and perimeter points to help support security-related operations at a data infrastructure location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials in accordance with post orders, and report unauthorized or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily security-related functions by observing operational areas, following established policies, and/or assisting with incident response and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
