Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Wacleche Lab within the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences is looking to recruit a Postdoctoral Scholar to continue the research already being done in the lab studying lupus and rheumatoid arthritis on both human and mice subjects. A successful candidate will assist Dr. Wacleche and other lab members manage research projects, designing research experiments, and collecting and analyzing data. Additionally, this person will present scientific information formally and informally, prepare reports and papers for publication, and contribute to grant writing. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate in an appropriate field and be able to provide evidence that all requirements have been met for completion of the Ph.D. prior to the effective date of hire.
