Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Construction Manager position for a chemical facility, including commissioning and start-up support. The project involves replacing an aging steam boiler with a new system consisting of 16 modular boilers and an independent TOX to stabilize steam supply. Project also includes constructing a new Boiler Building and a new Maintenance Building, as well as converting an existing Maintenance Building into a new warehouse.

Develop and maintain relationships with project sponsors, stakeholders, engineers, construction teams, and equipment suppliers.

Oversee onsite construction.

Provide weekly project updates.

Direct questions to the appropriate engineering personnel.

Participate in the bidding phase of major construction activities.

Manage construction daily activities (multi-discipline contractors).

Review all contractor submitted QA/ QC documentation and advise of irregularities.

Assure compliance to construction schedule and report significant delays and deviations.

Bubble-up all construction/ fabrication issues (provide solutions to mitigate).

Furnish a daily report depicting schedule compliance, safety concerns, and planned activities.

Participate in a weekly update meeting with the general contractor, owner & engineering firm

Advise of all Change Notices submitted by the contractor (request supporting documentation).

Assure a safe and orderly worksite is maintained at all times.

Manage post-outage construction activities (roof re-installation, touch up painting, final insulation, housekeeping, etc.).

Furnish a final report/ critique/ lessons-learned documentation.

Commissioning and start-up experience.

Progress reporting to ownership team.

Previous experience with QA/QC Documentation.

Construction Supervision experience.
