Job Description Trust Sales / Support Assistant Classification: Non-Exempt Reports to: Trust Administrator III or Trust Operations Manager Summary/Objective The Trust Sales/Support Assistant is responsible for departmental Board Governance in addition to client service and sales support of Trust Administrators and Portfolio Managers. Primary Functions 1. Board Governance and Departmental Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of monthly Oversight and Directors board materials
- Assist with Audit preparation - gathering requested data and report generation
- Monitor daily balancing of Trust Accounting System and reconcilement of general ledger and custody accounts
- Upload/Download files for performance calculations, OFAC screening and securities corporate actions
2. Client Service
- Prepare client and prospect presentations / proposals
- Create and prepare reports for institutional client board meetings
- Manage client correspondence
- Prepare, organize and retain client account documents including opening and closing accounts
- Process distributions and establish recurring transactions
- Coordinate transfer of assets
- Monitor and process client IRS Required Minimum Distributions for clients
- Prepare, compile and maintain client account information for annual tax reporting
- Responsible for client account tax payments
- Client relations - marketing gifts and department supplies
- Support Trust Administrators/ Portfolio Managers as necessary
3. Administration
- Answer telephone calls
- Process and manage mail
- Schedule appointments
Secondary Functions
- Serve as backup for Trust Operations Specialist

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Travel
No travel is expected for this position. Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- High School Graduate or GED.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work alone or in a team environment.
- Ability to manage confidential information.
- Proven ability to read, interpret a variety of documents and reports, including statistical information.
- Must have a professional appearance and manner.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Post High School education or 2 years of related experience.
- Experience in the banking industry.
- Experience in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
