Mead & Hunt is a Top 100 national engineering/architecture consulting firm with a growing water/wastewater practice. As a result, we have a full-time position available for a senior level water/wastewater project manager/engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the project manager for civil/environmental water and wastewater projects
  • Overseeing design as well as performing technical design tasks
  • Drafting proposals with scope and pricing
  • Reviewing client billings
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
  • Serving as a client manager

Travel will be required.

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil, environmental or related engineering from an accredited college or university
  • At least twelve (12) years of relevant experience
  • PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

  • Designing water and wastewater projects, with specialization in one or more of the following project types:
  • Large diameter pipelines
  • Water/wastewater treatment
  • Pump stations
  • Effluent disposal and biosolids
  • Stormwater
  • Project management (scope, schedule and budget)
  • Mentoring and providing technical guidance to staff
  • Client management for municipal and county governments
