Logistics Coordinator Location: East Hartford, CT (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview Our client is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support backend logistics operations for a large workspace solutions organization. This role is primarily officebased and focuses on ensuring materials, equipment, and shipments move smoothly throughout the workflow. The coordinator will manage schedules, track shipments and materials, follow up on quotes, and communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods. Primary Responsibilities * Coordinate daily logistics activities to ensure trucks and deliveries arrive as scheduled * Track materials, shipments, and orders from initiation through completion * Follow up on vendor quotes, order statuses, and delivery timelines * Support procurement and purchasing activities as needed * Maintain accurate documentation, inventory records, and logistics files * Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues * Proactively identify delays or workflow obstacles and implement solutions * Assist with invoices, returns, and general backend logistics processes Must-Have Skills * Purchasing experience * Logistics coordination * Documentation management * Inventory control Nice-to-Have Skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Qualifications * High school diploma or GED * Prior experience in a purchasing, logistics, or supply chain environment * Strong communication and customer service skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, operations-driven setting Work Environment * Fully onsite in East Hartford, CT * Office-based role supporting backend logistics operations for a large workspace solutions company Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Hartford, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
