Corporate Development Lead

The Opportunity:

Serve as a Lead on theCorporate Development team,supporting the deal lifecycle across strategy, valuation, financial modeling, and negotiation forjoint ventures, minority investments, andmergers and acquisitions. Work closely with the company's technology accelerator and corporate venture teams. Assistwith evaluating the broader corporate financial and market strategy of Booz Allen across our sectors. Leverage knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and different business models such as services and software, to inform the development of dynamic financial statement modeling and financial metrics. Assess strategic financial alternatives through merger consequences analyses, including accretion and dilution,leveragedbuyout, discounted cash flow, sum-of-parts, public trading comparables, precedent transactions, and IRR or ROI returns modeling. Execute M&A and other inorganic investment and transaction processes in coordination with senior corporate and market leaders.Comprehendthe defenseor government ecosystem,majorcommercial technology trends and players, and the operational, legal, and financial structures of complex business collaborations. Use dual-use technologies,cross-functionalstakeholder engagement, and cross-sector negotiation. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as part of corporate development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships or growth investing, with a focus on government contracting, aerospace and defense, or cybersecurity and technology
  • Experience in defense, cybersecurity, government contracting, or commercial technology market segments
  • Experience with alternative business models such as equity investments, M&A, and joint ventures
  • Experience with complex financial models for various deal structures
  • Experience structuring complex problems, delivering insights and recommendations, andidentifyingkey risks
  • Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional coordination, including working with legal, finance,engineering, and executive teams
  • Ability to work across teams to build operational P&Ls
  • Ability to scope and define strategy for various investment options
  • Ability to prioritize work streams appropriately and move among differing tasks quickly
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
