In the role of Revenue Cycle Account Executive, you will be a trusted advisor to executive and operational leaders, aligning organizational needs with revenue cycle services, technology, and best practices that drive measurable outcomes.

About The Position



  • Provides strategic oversight of multiple revenue cycle departments, including billing, coding, patient access, and collections, each managed by Directors or Managers, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high performing team to consistently achieve organizational objectives and ensuring high client satisfaction
  • Leads negotiations with external partners, payers, and regulatory agencies to secure favorable reimbursement terms and optimize financial performance.
  • Advises and influences executive leadership on matters of significant strategic importance, such as regulatory changes, reimbursement strategies, and revenue optimization initiatives.
  • Communicates critical strategies and performance outcomes to executive stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making and regulatory adherence.
  • Implements executive directives and directly shapes pivotal business decisions impacting revenue cycle operations, financial health, and organizational growth.
  • Influences internal and external stakeholders regarding revenue cycle policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Contributes to the development of mid- and long-term operational plans (5--8 years), focusing on sustainable financial growth, innovation in revenue cycle processes, and workforce development.
  • Drives innovation by enhancing revenue cycle processes and systems, leveraging extensive expertise to strengthen the organization's competitive position and improve financial outcomes.
  • Designs and manages succession planning and talent rotation programs for key revenue cycle leadership roles.
  • Regularly engages in complex negotiations and addresses multifaceted challenges unique to healthcare revenue cycle management, including payer relations, regulatory changes, and resource allocation.
  • Oversees large multidisciplinary teams, providing expert guidance and ensuring operational excellence across all revenue cycle functions.
  • Directs workforce planning, including recruitment, promotion, and rewards, in accordance with established governance protocols and healthcare compliance standards.
  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of hospital and health system accounts, with accountability for revenue growth and pipeline development
  • Establish and sustain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including C suite leaders and Board members within the client organization
  • Align client and company priorities to achieve long term objectives through effective collaboration and clear communication
  • Oversee and enhance governance structures to maintain strong operational performance and exceptional client service.
  • Drive and monitor critical performance indicators, such as customer satisfaction and retention, to support ongoing client success
  • Apply a strategic, operational, and technology informed perspective to decision making and problem resolution
  • Develop and deliver tailored presentations and proposals aligned to hospital priorities, strategic initiatives, and budget cycles
  • Lead contract discussions and negotiations in partnership with legal, finance, and executive leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with implementation, client success, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term client satisfaction
  • Maintain a deep understanding of hospital industry trends, reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics
  • Represent the organization at healthcare conferences, industry events, and client meetings



Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • 12-15+ years of relevant experience required
  • Advanced expertise in healthcare revenue cycle management and industry practices
  • Demonstrated success in consultative, enterprise-level healthcare sales
  • Strong understanding of hospital operations, finance, and governance structures
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive-level stakeholders
  • Proven success leading complex client engagements, guiding diverse teams, achieving measurable results, and driving change in high pressure environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence C suite leaders and Boards through value driven engagement
  • Strong financial acumen with a track record of measurable impact, including improved performance, efficiency, and client outcomes


Preferred Requirements:



  • Graduate degree is preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered.
