Project & Creative Operations Coordinator (Mid-Level)

for a global retail brand marketing team headquartered in Portland, Oregon (Remote or Hybrid) - 3 month contract.

Our client is seeking a Project & Creative Operations Coordinator to support their global retail brand marketing team. This role is essential in keeping marketing campaigns running smoothly across global channels and creative partners. The Coordinator ensures timelines are met, communication flows seamlessly, and creative deliverables move efficiently from brief through delivery.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role bridges creative, operational, and regional marketing teams-helping streamline processes and ensure flawless execution of global brand campaigns.

Responsibilities:




  • Support multiple creative marketing campaigns simultaneously, maintaining schedules, deliverables, and key milestones.



  • Coordinate workflows between internal creative teams and external agency partners.



  • Track project status, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively recommend solutions.



  • Maintain organized documentation, assets, and project files for global and regional teams.



  • Assist in campaign brief development, project kickoffs, and regular status meetings.



  • Support ongoing improvements to creative operations processes and tools (e.g., Monday.com).



  • Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment across internal teams, regional partners, and vendors.



  • Assist with light budget tracking and vendor coordination as needed.



  • Provide post-campaign recaps and performance documentation for key stakeholders.




Qualifications:




  • 3-5 years of project management or creative operations experience, ideally in retail, brand marketing, or agency environments.



  • Proven ability to manage complex, time-sensitive projects with multiple global stakeholders.



  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail.



  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to managing competing priorities.



  • Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid team setting.



  • Experience using project management platforms such as Monday.com or similar.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Keynote and SharePoint (Figma a plus).

This is a contract position, full-time (20 hours per week), with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid model based in Portland, Oregon.

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $35-40 per hour, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours requirements.
