Johns Hopkins Hospital (JHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our specialty team with a permanent night schedule. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is looking to balance work with personal commitments.

Schedule: 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced clinical care in a specialized area of medicine overnight.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and JHH protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Advanced Practice Provider (Adult Gero Acute Care NP required or PA) with relevant specialization in General Surgery.
• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in a specialty area.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends and adapt to a flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

• New graduate APPs welcome. RN General Surgery experience preferred.
• Experience in general surgery preferred
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15/hour - Maximum 82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
