Patient Care Tech intern - CNA - Adult Acute Oncology Full time - Night Shift - 36 hours The Patient Care Tech Intern works under the supervision of a nurse and taking into consideration the developmental needs of the patient, performs routine patient activities and delegated patient care procedures of a specialized and technical nature as competent documentation designates. As a Patient Care Technician on the Adult Acute Oncology unit at Johns Hopkins Hospital Weinberg, you will assist in caring for patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. Our patients may receive bone marrow transplants, cellular therapy infusions, and other advanced treatments. The Kimmel Cancer Center bridges laboratory research and clinical care, so new therapies and clinical trials are rapidly brought to patients, offering cuttingedge treatment options. Patient Care Technicians are an integral part of this skilled, multidisciplinary team, providing handson support to promote patient comfort, safety, and recovery.
