As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support store teams with customer service, detailed reporting, and a welcoming shopping experience, bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset while delivering through teamwork and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail setting.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, loading areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for signs of theft, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations, documenting observations according to post orders.
• Complete required reports, communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives, and support opening and closing routines as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
